| · | Pressing, and holding down, the <CTRL> key and pressing the <D> key (the underlined letter), or

| · | Selecting Edit on the Menu Bar, then selecting Delete Hi-Lighted Record

| Doing any of the above displays a dialog box prompting for confirmation to delete the selected record.

 Records are not physically removed from the file when they are deleted, but are marked with an X in the Del column.
|
|
|
| Deleted records are physically removed when the file is packed & indexed. Marking records with an X instead of removing them immediately allows records to be recalled (i.e., undeleted).
