Sales Tax Report

Use this selection to print a report of sales taxes collected. A form prompting for the beginning and ending dates of the period to be reported is displayed. The report lists every item sold within the reporting period organized by invoice number. This allows the sales tax for each sale to be easily identified.

The sales tax report can be instructed to report layaway sales at the time of sale or when paid in full. (The miscellaneous setting Report Layaway Sales when Sold? has details.)

Also, the sales tax report reports the tax due on all items. It does not account for sales tax paid back to dealers. You must account for sales taxes paid back to dealers.
