Daily Sales Report - Summary Only

Use this selection to print just the totals for cash, dealer credit, gift certificate, credit card, check, and other sales.

A form prompting for the beginning and ending dates of the period to be reported (day, week, month, quarter, year, etc.), the register and ID to report on, and the type of total lines to print (none, monthly, or daily) will be displayed.

The register and ID fields are usually left blank unless you are running a network version of the software.

If the type of total lines selected is none, the program produces a summary report for the specified reporting period and analyzes sales by method of payment and tries to balance the cash drawer.

If the type of total lines selected is monthly, the report lists the quantity of items sold, gross sales, net sales, and sales tax for each month within the specified reporting period. The report does not analyze these values by method of payment nor does it balance the cash drawer.

If the type of total lines selected is daily, the report lists just the quantity of items sold, gross sales, net sales, and sales tax for each day within the specified reporting period. The report does not analyze these values by method of payment nor does it balance the cash drawer.
