·How to start the software.
·The optional parameters that can be specified to alter program operation.
·How to quit the software.
·Making backups.

The software runs under the control of the Windows operating system. Although not required, it is beneficial to understand how Windows operates, how it organizes disks (files and folders), and how it runs programs. Knowing how to use EXPLORER, SCAN DISK, and DEFRAG, among other Windows programs is quite useful.
